Rabbi Shisler retired in 2014 as Rabbi of the New West End Synagogue in London, UK, where he occupied the pulpit from 2000. Prior to that he was Rabbi to the Bournemouth Hebrew Congregation, on the south coast of England for seven years, and before that he served the Kenton Synagogue as Chazan/Minister for twenty years.
Rabbi Shisler commenced his career as Cantor of the famous New Synagogue, Egerton Road, Stamford Hill London N16 As Cantor, Geoffrey Shisler has conducted services throughout the Metropolis. Having qualified as a young man as a state teacher, Rabbi Shisler has been a passionate educator throughout his career. He taught Jewish Studies at all levels and for some eleven years he taught Cantorial music and Nusach Hatefillah (traditional prayer modes) at Jews’ College, London.

All Sheva Berachot
After a Wedding Feast , a second cup of Wine is filled and Bride and Groom are blessed with six special blessings . The final blessing (seventh) is made over Wine. The first and second cup of wine are then moixed, drunk by the person who lead grace and then shared with the Bride and Groom.
It is customary for Distinguished Guests, Close family and friends to be honoured and asked to recite one of the Sheva Brochas blessings to the Bride and Groom. This unique facility will allow you to down load a Brocha and send it to one of the participants to learn the correct tune for the public blessing of the Bride and Groom.
